Bassem was born and raised in Lima - Peru, he then moved to Florida, US where he attended to a local University and graduated in Visual Communications.

 

It was in the sunshine state where he first discover his passion for acting. This happened when he was invited to the shooting of a Spanish soap opera and got to work as background. He then decided to study acting and he did. Sanford Meisner's technique and his teacher, actor Sebastian Ligarde helped him to develop his acting abilities and skills. This got him to shoot a couple of short films and Feature Film "3:13" which won several awards at prestigious Film Festivals.
